Our bikinis, knickers and most other products are manufactured completely at our premises in the Byron Bay Arts & Industrial Estate, Australia. To maintain business integrity and ensure the lowest possible prices we distribute direct to individual customers around the world. We do not seek partners, agents or involvement with third parties. We do not supply for resale. Our motivation is to provide a fun range of quality products for the benefit of women and their admirers, and the challenge of building a modern, ethical and socially responsible business in the new world economy. There is no 'sweatshop' mentality at Wicked Weasel. The WW team enjoys a friendly modern work environment, above Australian industry award pay and a profit share scheme. The company is fully self funded We use first quality fabrics from a variety of Australian and overseas sources. Swimwear, including the sheer range is generally 15% - 20% Lycra (or other elastane) and 80%-85% Nylon. Cotton underwear is 15% Lycra and 85% Cotton. Laces have varied composition but are principally Nylon and Lycra (or other elastane) generally in similar proportions to the above. Metal fittings are made from nickel plated brass and are corrosion resistant. Care labels in the back of bikini bottoms and knickers are tear out. Size labels in bikini tops will not tear out. Hot tubs and swimming pools contain chlorine which may damage the Lycra/elastane in your bikini. The sheer fabrics are even more delicate and should be treated with extra care. Suntan oils can also damage the fabric in your swimwear with prolonged use. Some colours may bleed when wet so keep them separate from other items until dry. Light colours will fade more quickly than dark in the intense summer sun. After each use, hand wash your bikini in mild soap, rinse well and hang to dry out of the sun. Do not leave rolled up wet. Do not use bleach. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. If a snag appears in your sheer bikini fabric, grip the fabric 1-2 cm each side of the snag then stretch apart gently, first east-west, then the same north-south. Repeat this a few times if necessary and the snag should disappear. With all clothing, the better you care for it, the longer it will last and perform well. Handwashing will increase the life of your bikinis and underwear products. Do not tumble dry Avoid abrasive surfaces We take great care in the manufacture of our products, but we are human too. Wicked Weasel bikinis are BRIEF. They are designed for minimal coverage and are intended to be firm fitting. Triangle tops are standard for every style so we use the bottoms numbers to denote the different styles. The table below shows the width of the top triangles. You may select a smaller size bottom for less coverage and request straps to suit a larger waist/hip size. Tie sides allow any size fit, and can be added to most bottom styles. The following customisations are available for bikini bottoms: Tie sides (not available for 462, 463, 475 or 477) Extra length to side straps (not available for 477) Please note: you can only choose tie sides OR extra length to side straps (not both) Extra length to centre string (not available for 403) To customise your bikini, click Customisations on the cart page and select your requirements. The 10% Elastane means you have the comfort of cotton without the garment losing its shape. Sheer 84% Nylon 16% Elastane - This is an extremely light fabric. Very sexy and see through when wet. Matt Lycra We use Italian Nylon Lycra, made from 80% Nylon 20% Elastane - Very high grade quality fabric, extremely resistant to chlorine. Shiny Lycra 80% Nylon 20% Elastane - A glimmering see-through when wet bikini, sure to shine on those hot summer days. Candy Stripe 11% Elastane 79% Polyester - A lightweight and slightly see-through candy coloured stripe. Diamond Lace 50% Nylon 45% Rayon 5% Elastane - An intricately knitted lace with a diamond pattern. Two Tone Net A combination of our Matt Lycra overlaid with 88% Nylon 12% Elastane Mesh. Flower Mesh 50% Nylon 50% Rayon - A very popular tulle lace with small embroidered flowers. Cheeky Lace 91% Nylon 9% Spandex - A very soft and luxurious lace that moulds to your body for that extra cheeky look. G-Naughty 80% Nylon 20% Elastane - We use the whole width of the heart lace to make a very sexy g-string knicker. G-Naughty Gothic 75% Nylon 12% Rayon 13% Spandex - Sexy two toned lace. Den gut gemeinten Vergleich mit Saint-Tropez oder Ibiza empfindet der Buziano aber, durchaus zu Recht, fast als Beleidigung. Denn Búzios ist auch heute noch Natur pur. Die "Bikini-Dichte" in Búzios ist umwerfend. Das fängt im kleinen, relativ gut erhaltenen Zentrum des ehemaligen Fischerdorfs an. Die Zahl einfacher und eleganter Bikini-Boutiquen pro Quadratkilometer dürfte Weltrekord sein. Und es hört an den Stränden nicht auf. Die hügelige Halbinsel bietet sage und schreibe 23 Strände! Solche mit hohen Wellen für die Surfer, solche voller Romantk für Verliebte, und gleich mehrere für die beautiful people, die selbstverständlich die raffiniertesten Modell-Bikinis tragen. Oder die, die nur die Modelle - und die Models! - fachmännisch studieren . . . oder schlicht beneiden. Kurzum ein Ort, an dem brasilianische Bikini-Mode nicht nur gemacht und vorgeführt wird, sondern an dem sich auch die europäische Urlaubs-Bikini-Trägerin des Wohlgefühls brasilianisch-diskreter Bewunderung auf die natürlichste Weise erfreuen darf. Daß einige Designer der Top-Bikini-Marken Brasiliens längst in Búzios leben, z.T. auch ausstellen und produzieren lassen, klingt selbstverständlich. Denn auch wer mit brasilianischer Mode nichts am Hut hat, kann Búzios in vielfacher Hinsicht als Urlaubs-, Tagungs- oder gar als Wohnort geniessen: ein klimatisch tolles Fleckchen mit Fischerdorf-Atmosphäre und sogar etwas Südsee-Flair, gepflegt, international, und doch original und meistens ruhig. Ohne ein einziges Haus mit mehr als zwei Stockwerken. Ohne eine einzige Bettenburg. Aber mit über dreihundert über die Hügel der Halbinsel verstreuten Mini-Hotels (Pousadas) und privaten "Guest Houses". Ein Paradies auch für Segler, Windsurfer, verwöhnte Taucher und Golfer. Búzios gilt als die Perle der Costa do Sol - Sonnenküste, mit ca. 250 Sonnentagen im Jahresdurchschnitt. Die Strände von Búzios gehören zu den schönsten Brasiliens. Und die "schönste Stadt der Welt", ist nur 170 km entfernt: Rio de Janeiro ist der fast magische Begriff, wenn man in unseren Breiten an Brasilien denkt: Zuckerhut, Samba, Fussball, Traumstrände . . . . Copacabana und Ipanema, um nur die beiden berühmtesten zu erwähnen, sind Synonym für faszinierende Landschaft, Musik, Sport und schöne Menschen. Und natürlich für die brasilianische Bademode. Man darf riskieren, Rio´s wunderschöne, weltberühmte Strände auch auf Strandmode-Basis mit denen von Búzios zu vergleichen: diejenigen in Rio sind riesig, atemberaubend für´s Auge, großstädtisch, zum Baden und Sonnen ein Genuss an Wochentagen. Aber eher wie Mallorca am Wochenende. Die Búzios-Strände sind weniger rasant, dagegen immer idyllisch, zum Teil südsee-ähnlich und eindeutig "bikinischer". Die Länge der brasilianischen Atlantik-Küste entspricht mit fast 8.000 Kilometer etwa der Strecke von Oslo nach Gibraltar - hin und zurück! Außer herrlichen Tauchgebieten verfügt ein tropisches Riesenland wie Brasilien natürlich über unzählbare, weiß-sandige Traumstrandkilometer, vor allem im immer warmen Nordosten. Von Süden nach Norden sind Bahia (Salvador), Pernambuco (Recife), Rio Grande do Norte (Natal) und Ceará (Fortaleza) die dem europäischen Touristen geläufigsten Namen. Diese Gegenden sind ausnahmslos wunderschön, grösstenteils mit intakter Natur, und werden als preiswerte Reiseziele insbesondere dem europäischen Touristen auch mit Billigflügen pauschal angeboten. Brasilianische Bikinimode ist auch dort kein Fremdwort. Die südlichen Staaten Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina und Paraná verfügen über schöne, jedoch ausserhalb Brasiliens kaum bekannte und klimatisch weniger privilegierte Strände. Dort bestaunen im Sommer hauptsächlich argentinische Touristen die brasilianischen Bikinimoden - und deren schöne Trägerinnen. Vor den Toren von São Paulo liegt der mit Hochhäusern á la Copacabana bebaute Badeort Guarujá. Hunderttausende "Paulistas" drängeln sich dort an Wochenenden. Der Blick auf Meer und zauberhafte Inseln entlang der ca. 400 km lange Küstenstrecke zwischen Guarujá und Rio de Janeiro erinnert an die Karibik. Etwa auf halber Strecke liegen das idyllische Kolonialstädchen Parati und der Ort Angra dos Reis. Der zum Teil von segel- und society-besessenen Millionären aus Rio und São Paulo bewohnten Inselwelt vor Angra verdankt dieser Ort, auch bei Tauchern, einen erstaunlich guten Namen. Bei schönem Wetter zu Recht. Das herrliche Urwald-Gebirge "Serra do Mar" bleibt parallel zur Küste immer auf Sichtweite.
